Adonai International Christian Univesity
Education for Christian Leadership & Theological Excellence
Students who have
completed courses at other institutions or have practical
ministerial/professional experience may receive credit for their work. This
involves a submission of official transcripts, certificates, diplomas or
degrees earned, a copy of ministerial license and or/ordination
certificate, copies of license, certification, and professional
membership certificates, ministerial and/or professional resume, and
a non-credit educational resume. The
complete information package to be submitted for evaluation is called “life learning/ministry portfolio (LLMP). A minimum of 30 credits must be completed
directly through AICU.
A student desiring to transfer from another institution may apply for
admission by submitting the forms provided.
Official transcripts from all institutions of learning attended
following graduation from high school, completion of GED or otherwise after
high school must be submitted. Such
transcript must indicate courses entered, in progress, or completed. Results of any aptitude and other special
test taken and evidence of standing should also be indicated on
transcript. AICU welcomes
transfer students who desire to develop in their vocation. AICU considers the acceptance of
theological credits from all acceptable schools that meet standard guidelines
used by educational institutions.
(General education credits are accepted from both Christian and
non-Christian schools). HOWEVER, ALL
COURSES MUST BE COMPATIBLE TO THOSE OF AICU, OR THEY WILL BE ACCEPTED AS LIFE
LEARNING/MINISTRY EVALUATION (LLME) CREDITS.
THIS APPLY TO CREDITS FROM ALL INSTITUTIONS, INCLUDING THOSE RECOGNIZED
BY USDE. Transfer of credits applies
when a student has earned credits at another institution in which he did not
complete a degree, and desires to transfer those credits into AICU to
complete his degree. AICU will
review all credits and will transfer in as many as are comparable to our
programs, provided, however, that the student has received a minimum grade of "C"
or higher at the undergraduate level, and a "B" or higher at the
graduate and postgraduate levels. The
credits being transferred must be at the same level of the courses in the
program the student is transferring the credits into in order for those credits
to be accepted in full, and if not, they will be accepted in part based on the
level of those courses, which varies.
Accreditation, regardless of which agency granting such (whether or not
recognized by the USDE) does not ensure automatic transferability of credits
from one institution to another, it is always at the discretion of the
receiving institution. The student must
keep in mind that the transfer of credits from one institution to another is a
privilege, not a right. Therefore, it is
possible that some credits may not be accepted or transferred into AICU,
even with USDE accreditation.
Life
Learning/Ministry Portfolio Evaluation (LLMPE) Credits
Life
Learning/Ministry Portfolio Evaluation (LLMPE) is based on the evaluation of a student's ministry
experience and non-credit education such as: non-credit courses taken or
taught, seminars attended or conducted, professional conventions attended,
books read, tape teaching series studied, books or professional articles
written, and other studies through which the applicant gained a learning
knowledge. Not everyone applying for LLMPE
credits may be qualified. Just
holding ministerial credential does not qualify an individual for life
experience credits. Only those
individuals in or have been in active practical ministry and meeting other
qualifications above may apply for LLMPE credits. All students not meeting the qualifications
upon their evaluation will not be given LLMPE credits, and will
be notified of such decision. LLMPE
credits will be granted to students only upon their initial enrollment at AICU. Any unused LLMPE credit due to
the minimum program requirement will be made available to the student at a
future enrollment. Each student is
evaluated individually base on the academic information and LLMPE
resume submitted to AICU for evaluation.
Upon evaluation of materials submitted, the student will be notified of
the evaluation result, advanced standing (if applicable) and number of courses
required to complete the program based on the evaluation, and placed into a
customized program.
NOTE: Qualified students may receive up to three (3) credits for each
year based on the LLMP evaluation.

following (all that are applicable.) along with their application:
