Program By Research & Thesis/Dissertation

The Turabian manual has been adopted by AICU, and all research projects, theses and dissertations must be in accordance with this manual (A Manual for writers of term papers, theses and dissertations, by Kate L. Turabian.  Published by the University of Chicago Press).  Turabian Manual can be purchased at discount rate through AICU bookstore at www.adonaiuniversitybookstore.com or through the CBD affiliate bookstore at the main website at www.adonaiuniversity.net.  To search the bookstore through CBD, just place the name or ISBN number of textbook in the search box and click go.  Students must obtain this manual the writing of research projects, theses, and dissertations.
 

NOTE: All course papers MUST be in the Turabian Format or will be returned for revision.  Course papers may be emailed to: grading@adonaiuniversity.net.  All designed study guide and final examination work may be submitted on a CD-Rom or floppy disk, or submitted as an email attachment.
 

The Program by Research & Thesis/Dissertation (PRTD) is offered from the associate’s through the doctoral level, and is based a series of research and two theses (undergraduate/graduate) or dissertations (postgraduate).  The Program by Research & Thesis/Dissertation (PRTD) is available to all qualified AICU students.  LLMPE is not applicable to this program.
 

Upon admission into the program, the student is to submit a subject that he has chosen to complete his research for the degree project.  Once the subject is approved, he is to research books within the subject of his/her major or major emphasis.  He is then to write a report on each of the books to submit to AICU as outlined in the course syllabi.  Thereafter, the student must submit a draft proposal for each thesis/dissertation to AICU.  Each proposal must be on a special topic within the degree major, and must include the title, purpose and complete outline.  The proposals will be reviewed by AICU.  Corrections, changes or suggestions, if any, will be made and forwarded to the student to finalize and complete the theses/dissertations.  Otherwise the student will be instructed to proceed with the research and writing of the theses/dissertations on the special topics selected within the degree major.  The theses/dissertations must be in accordance with the requirements below, and must be typed and double-spaced.  A bound copy of each completed thesis/dissertation must be presented to AICU.  Below are the minimum requirements for the PRTD program:

Prerequisite:
High Diploma, GED or Equivalent

Program Requirement:
Research Project as outlined in the course syllabus.

Two Theses of a minimum of 99-page each, typed and double-spaced.

 
BACHELOR’S DEGREE PROGRAMS

BACHELOR’S (120 SCH)
Prerequisite:
Associate’s Degree or Equivalent (60 Undergraduate SCH minimum), or High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent

Theses:
A. With an Associate’s Degree:
Two Theses of a minimum of 90-page each, typed and double-spaced.

B. Without an Associate’s Degree:

Two Dissertations of a minimum of 229.5-page each, typed and double-spaced.

 

NOTE: Student on monthly tuition payment plans: There will be no grade report or transcript sent to any student who is not up to date on his/her financial obligation to AICU.
