AICU uses the semester
credit hour (SCH) system, and the 4.0 grading scale is in effect. Grading and evaluation is exhorting to good
performance and serves to challenge the students to stir up the gifts they have
received from the Lord unto good works.
Letter grades are used as the measuring device to indicate the
performance level reached within a course.
On a grading scale the letter received is assigned quality points as
interpreted below:

Graduation honors are awarded for academic work performed by the student
during his or her studies at AICU.
Honors are awarded with the following quality points:
3.91 - 4.00 Summa Cum Laude
3.76 - 3.90 Magna Cum Laude
3.60 - 3.75 Cum Laude
All honors (if applicable) will appear on the official transcript. No honors will appear on the degree earned by
the student.
