Adonai International Christian Univesity
Education for Christian Leadership & Theological Excellence
AICU programs are self-paced, and therefore all students set their
own schedule and study at their convenience.
Students are free to complete their program at any time within the time
limit. In some cases, based on the
advanced standing of a student through transferred credits accepted and/or life
learning/ministry portfolio evaluation (LLMPE) credits granted,
he/she is given a specially customized program.
An advanced standing student may even complete a program within a
shorter time frame. Some students go
through the program at a very fast pace, some not so fast and not so slow, and
yet there are some who take the slow pace.
The following is a list of each program time limit:
|
Associate’s/Th.A. Degree Program (60/66 SCH) |
3 years after admission |
|
Bachelor’s Degree Program (120 SCH) |
5 years after admission |
|
Th.B. (132 SCH) |
5 ½ years after admission |
|
Master’s Degree Program (45 SCH) |
3 years after admission |
|
Th.M. Degree Program (66 SCH) |
3 ½ years after admission |
|
M.Div. Degree Program (90 SCH) |
5 years after admission |
|
Doctoral/Th.D. Degree Program (45/51 SCH) |
3 years after admission |
After the time limit is
expired and the student’s program is not completed, he/she will be charged a
monthly extension fee of $65.00 for degree programs each month until the
program is completed. This applies to
all students, except in the case of illness or a serious financial
hardship. In which event a formal letter
must be sent to AICU informing the school of the situation at hand and making a
request to be excused and granted an extension without charge.
