Adonai International Christian University (AICU) is an educational outreach of Adonai International Dominion Ministries, Inc. (AIDM), a non-profit Christian ministry, an affiliate of Adonai International Fellowship Alliance, Inc. (AIFA).  

California: AICU confers degree by exemption in the State of California.  AICU is authorized to operate and grant religious degrees and diplomas by exemption in the State of California by the Bureau for Private Post Secondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE).  AICU is not a private postsecondary educational institution as that term is defined in law.  AICU operates under California Education Code (CEC) Section 94739 (b)(6) of the BPPVE in the State of California. 

North Carolina: AICU also confers degree by exemption in the State of North Carolina.  AICU has been declared by the appropriate State authority (The University of North Carolina Board of Governors (UNCBG)) exempt from the requirements for licensure under provisions of North Carolina General Statutes Section (G.S.) 116-15(d) for exemption from licensure with respect to religious education.  Exemption from licensure is not based upon assessment of program quality under established licensing standards of the UNCBG in the State of North Carolina.

This is the AICU California Catalog, and degrees offered herein are based on our California Exemption.  Programs not listed in this catalog are offered under our North Carolina exemption only.  Programs offered in both California and North Carolina are the same, with the exception of degrees with the title “arts” and “philosophy,” which are offered under our North Carolina exemption only.  For these additional degrees, please refer to the AICU North Carolina Catalog.
